This three hour course is targeted towards people supporting a loved one (family or friend) with a mental health and/or addiction concern. People attending this course will come away with an understanding that they are on a separate recovery journey from the person they are supporting. They will discover what a healthy relationship looks like and how it is possible to create one.
The following topics will be covered: healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, the cycle of abuse, self sabotage, personal wellness, self-care and coping strategies.
